Friday Evening Social Activity:

On Friday October 9, 2009 from 6:30-9:30 PM we will enjoy dinner at the Arab American National Museum in downtown Dearborn, Michigan on the east side.  The entire event including dinner, self-guided tours and docent led tours will cost only $25 per person.

The Arab American National Museum is the first museum in the world devoted to Arab American history and culture. Arab Americans have enriched the economic, political and cultural landscape of American life. By bringing the voices and faces of Arab Americans to mainstream audiences, we continue our commitment to dispel misconceptions about Arab Americans and other minorities. The Museum brings to light the shared experiences of immigrants and ethnic groups, paying tribute to the diversity of our nation. The Arab American National Museum is a proud Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. and the only Smithsonian Affiliate in southeastern Michigan to date.

Find out more about the museum including its exhibits and its location by visiting its website:  http://www.arabamericanmuseum.org/
